I have always enjoyed writing, photography, and helping people.
I am a mother to two amazing children who I have trained to pose on cue (not really but really). A wife to the love of my life and he supports all my crazy endeavors like creating a local newspaper. I started the Santa Ynez Valley Star in 2015, and sold it at the beginning of 2022 when we moved to the Wood River Valley in Idaho.
I love doing something different every day which is why being a journalist, photographer, entrepreneur suits me best.
My degree is in Journalism from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and I am on the Advisory Board for the department.
I am also on the Central Coast Film Society Board, Wood River Chamber board and fundraising director for Wood River Baseball Association.
I won Newspaper of the Year in 2016 from the California News Publishers Association, 2016 Innovative Business from the EconAlliance, 2018 Emerging Business Award from Spirit of Entrepreneurship Foundation, and 2022 Women in Service Award from the Santa Barbara County Women's Commission.
I love multitasking and getting the job done.
I hope that I get the chance to get to know you. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
